Niya Echo is operated by Ettai, a company incorporated in Belgium. When this policy refers to “we”, “us”, or “Niya Echo”, it means Ettai.

  • Payment information processed through our payment provider
  • Star ratings and written feedback you leave after sessions
  • Any messages you send to us through the platform

  • Session booking records (date, time, duration)
  • Device and browser information used to access the platform
  • Usage data such as pages visited and features used

2.3 What we do not collect

  • Session content. Your Echo sessions are not recorded or stored.
  • Your Guardian’s personal identity. Guardians operate under nicknames.
  • Any information beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Account data: for as long as your account is active, plus 2 years after closure
  • Booking records: 3 years, for financial and legal compliance
  • Feedback and ratings: 2 years
  • Payment records: 7 years, as required by Belgian law

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted.

5. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données) or, if you are in the UK, with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
